I love to read books NOW. Whenever I sit to read a book, I always carry a highlighter with me. I like to highlight the lines that I find most interesting. It’s a small habit of mine. I am sure many of you have this kind of habit too.

But,
There was a time when I didn’t have time to read, or I was just lazy.
To be honest, I thought it was kind of a boring thing to do. On those old days, I used to kind of get irritated with inspirational quotes. You know the kind—you see them posted all over social media with scenic backgrounds or fancy fonts. “Yeah, yeah,” I USED to think. I believed, “Like this one line is going to solve all my problems.”

But then my life took a turn. Few things happened to me. I faced some ups and downs in my life. And with time, I developed my reading habit, and I realized something: the right words at the right time can be like a lifeboat. They don’t magically fix everything, but they can shift your perspective, keep you floating, and remind you to keep swimming.

So, today I’m sharing a few quotes or lines that have stuck with me—words that have made me think, or simply get my act together.

1. “Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.”

Hi, I write humorous, thought-provoking articles. Basically, I just write what I feel like writing. I try to inspire you to do the same.
